As far as A-Rod goes; big deal. He would have fit much better in the Red Sox organization, but kudos to the Yanks for making the deal. But like Chris said, this is not how they've won it in the past, and I have a feeling this might blow up in their face. I mean, they've basically set themselves up for a situation in which if they don't win it all, then what's the point. And every team is going to be gunning to beat this one.
And how about Maddux back with the Cubbies; what a nice starting five that will be.
