Doom II

What's hard to figure about the Yankees and the teams that play them is why so many circumstances favor the Yankees. The game is in the 11th right now, and a few innings ago, somehow, Juan Rincon throws a hanging slider to Ruben Sierra, who hit it like any major leaguer would, out, and ties the game, where the Yankees rarely ever (and this is a time where "rarely" actually has its full meaning) lose. It almost doesn't matter who the Yanks put in to pitch, they always get the best performance in late innings, even if they have to pull Rivera. Usually, though, they get it done when Rivera is around. I know that since 2001, they haven't had every break, and they've actually not won the World Series, but this happens a lot, even when they lose.
