My Vacation
I've had 2 days of vacation time so far, and it's been action-packed and it's only the beginning! I am now back from the Braves-Nationals game that the Braves won in 10 innings, 8-7, featuring a game-winning HR from Andruw Jones. I have now seen 3 games enter the sudden-death period and they have all ended on HRs--Ted Simmons a long time ago, Braves against the Cubs, that Adam Kennedy HR last year in Anaheim versus the Twins, and now this one.
That was fun, and it was one of those moments where you start giving high fives and tens to people you don't even know. But it was more exciting than it should have been--the Braves blew a 7-1 lead. It was horrible watching the bullpen walk runs in.
At some point, if I can find all the information, I will offer descriptions of all the baseball games I've been to. I've always wanted to find the old box scores or write-ups. The Braves are now 6-4 when I attend. I think Chipper and Andruw hit HRs every time I watch.
As I am vacationing and trying to stay away from movie theatres, I will not have my usual timely reviews of sure-to-be classics The Transporter 2, The Sound of Thunder, and of course, Underclassman. They will be watched in due time. However, I have gotten an advance look at the new Phillip Seymour Hoffman flick Capote. I will offer my thoughts on it later as I get back into the grind.

But-but. . .I can't live without my Transporter2 review. . .
Hope you're having a good vacation!
"Andruw" is a silly spelling.
Too bad that everyone on L&N except for Chris is dead.
Oh, and Chris, I'm still waiting for my copy of your book for me to read. I'm really excited to read it you know.
Hey, I'm not dead! I'm just busy and stuff. Seriously, I think I'll be posting more soon, because the worst of it is over!
