I Never Saw That In the Classifieds
Heard about this? DeAngelo Hall, of the Atlanta Falcons, used to have a contract with Reebok Shoes. Until last week, when he decided to wear Nike's for the game. He has now been dropped from Reebok effective immediately.
Think about this: it's some guy's job for Reebok to watch the games and make sure all sponsored players are wearing Reebok. Now that guy has a killer job. What kind of salary requirement do you give in an interview for a job like that?
As a side note, I think the NFL's deal with Reebok, that requires players and coaches to wear Reebok head-to-toe except for shoes is ridiculous greed. It reminds me of the cable providers, and how they work behind the scenes to get bills passed giving them exclusive rights to the territory. Poor Mike Nolan. Guy wants to wear a suit to restore some class to the 49ers, and he can't because Reebok doesn't make a suit. Oh well..at least he can wear wing-tips.

I think it's silly that Tom Landry couldn't wear his hat in this league (as I read about on NFL.com's TMQ). By forcing the head coach to wear such clothing, it's becoming closer to NASCAR.
