NBA

For all our gripping about certain teams always being the best in
their leagues, I get a kick out of the Lakers and the Celtics both
grabbing the #1 seeds; maybe it just reminds me of when the NBA was
fun and worth watching. Can we skip the whole playoffs and just have
those two teams play? I'd watch every game (maybe)! And I'd be
cheering for the Celtics, of course. Because I don't like black
people.

I have to say for the first time in I don't know how long I've actually kind of enjoyed the NBA this year, and managed to watch a few games.

It's still annoying as hell that the West is so much better. Golden State can't get in with 46 wins, but teams like the Hawks with losing records are in contention the whole way.

Don't know what you can do about that, but it's still annoying.

I think if you don't have a winning record, you don't get into the playoffs. That should be the rule for every sport, every level. Seriously, send the Warriors over to the East. Make them play more road games or something so you don't punish the team they're playing, but I'd rather watch them than the Hawks any day.

Why is everybody already getting excited for the NBA playoffs? Isn't it another 6 months or so before the championship games?
