I have no idea why Bob Boone is thinking about putting Larkin in the outfield. I guess they are thinking he is too slow for shortstop, but is he going to take the place of Dunn or Kearns? I'm pretty certain that Boone does stuff just to do stuff, with no real idea of how it's going to work. Just to be different. Larkin in the outfield makes no sense.
