So, Boone's a Yankee, Ponson's a Giant, Ventura's a Dodger. You know, people make all this trading out to be exciting, but remember back in the day when good players stayed with their teams for the most part and history was built. Like Kenny Lofton will be a Cub for very long; like Boone will stay on the Yankees throughout next year. None of this will last, and so all of this is stupid. I mean, from a competing standpoint I understand the concept, but did any of the vieing teams really make much of a difference to their chances? I dont' see it if they did.
