Oh yeah, I totally agree about the teams in the AFC as compared to the NFC, and the Eagles ARE the best team in the NFC, which is sad. The Cowboys, I will give them credit for winning, and it certainly means they are better than most, but they haven't been able to beat any elite teams (I think the Eagles would beat them now). But there is a simple reason the NFC isn't as good as they once was, and that's the salary cap that attacked the two dominant teams of our era, the 49ers and the Cowboys, who won 7 Super Bowls in the time between 1985-1996, a period of dominance for the NFC.
