Good win by the Titans, of course, but I come to criticise announcers. Those of us who have watched the Titans for years know that Eddie isn't all that anymore, and hasn't been for a number of years. We watched them win, seeming only on McNair's will alone at times, and then heard all of the hype about how great Eddie is. Keep it up, we thought! Don't let the other teams know who the real MVP is!
During the game, when Eddie got hurt, the announcers made it sound like they had suffered a horrible blow. I'd rather have had Brown play more! He made some plays that Eddie simply can't. The media can fall in love with a player, and often for silly reasons. Do you remember the Ravens drive at the end of the first half? You know, the one where they finally got a first down? Well, Wright made a couple of decent plays, taking the running room he was given, and all of the sudden he's a great player we all need to praise to the roof! I get so tired of this.
The real key is the Titans run defense. They can stop anyone, and when that is your only weapon, you're dead. If McNair had had his usual game, the Titans would have won by two touchdowns, at least. The Ravens got a bad break in the matchup department. Now I'm really nervous about New England, which should be a tough game.
