The Superbowl:
This was a hell of a game; I even liked the first quarter; I thought it was intense as hell. I was happy to see the offenses open up and make it a more exciting game, and besides that ridiculous kick out of bounds by Casey, you really can't blame the Panthers for doing anything. Yes, they weren't able to put much pressure on Brady, but we know this is a good defense, so why won't anyone acknowledge how good the Pats offensive line is. And what more can you expect from Delhomme. He was one of only a couple of quaterbacks this year to throw for over 300 yards against the Pats, and he had a QB rating of 113.6, the highest ever for a losing quaterback in a superbowl.
Comparing Brady to Montana, while expected, is ridiculous right now, and even Tom Brady said that. Brady is a QB you can count on, as Chris said, for the past couple of years, but will that continue. And let's face it, Montana is a much better QB when you look at finesse, accuracy, and stamina. And he went to Notre Dame, so that alone makes him better.
As far as the Janet Jackson thing, I really don't give a damn. It's funny how CBS is so appaled. This coming from a station who allows a penis intensifying medicine to be one of the larger spokesmodels for the game, not to metion all of the beer commercials, but won't let an advertisement that might be seen as anti-Bush. Give me a fucking break.
I didn't get to any movies this weekend, but cannot wait to see "Miracle." I love Russell's hairpiece, it alone will make the movie entertaining.
