Chris: I'm certainly interested in new members.   Just send me their name, email address, and a little bit about them, and I'll try to remember how to add new members.  Should be in the FAQ somewhere.  Hey, we could be the go-to Predators blog.  That would be cool.

Saw three movies over the weekend, but only have a second to type, so here's the easiest review.

WAR OF THE WORLDS: Cheesy camp from the 50's, with a religious theme added in that neither HG nor Orson Well(e)s would have liked.  Bunches of no-name actors, cheesy special effects, poor plot progression, a ho-down with an awful singer, etc, etc.  They never explained how they knew the creatures were coming from Mars; everyone just assumed it.  Of course, in the end, the common cold wiped them out, but they never explained how the people knew that!  But, it was a b-movie, so I didn't expect any better.  Not recommended, although highly recommended if you are at the wonderful Louisville Palace, and can actively make fun of the film with a friend.  I had a great time.
