Isn't this the kind of talk we hear every year? "Vandy's good for six wins, guys, honest." It's always a statement based on conjecture, like when one looks at the schedule and says, "A break here and there...we might be good for another three wins," when in fact a break here and there can cause things to go the other way as well. It's all in the checks and balances of the universe. They are an outmanned squad every year, lucky to get three wins. I remember a run where they seemed to always take ranked opponents down to the wire and then fumble or be unable to get it in the end zone. You can only go so far with these kinds of athletes. I even heard, yet again, someone saying on local radio, "I think they might beat Tennessee this year!" a quote from the damned. It might as well be the New England Patriots that Vandy is playing. It'll help in the RPI, at least.
