Homeward Bound
Yep, I'm returning to Nashville this weekend, and I'm going to the Admirals game on Saturday. We're going to buy our tickets when we get there, but I'd like to say hello to anyone I haven't met yet. If you want to, post a comment on your ticket location, and we'll search you out. Hope to see a lot of people there!

Unfortunately for me, fellows, this game starts at 5 PM. That puts me into direct conflict with work. I could swing, maybe, leaving at 5, getting there around 5:30, missing the 1st period--that's simply not a fun prospect. Maybe some postgame activity, I could do that.
Oh yeah, I forgot about that. That sucks. And I can't do postgame fun because of prior obligations to the gal that willingly kisses me (aka, my girlfriend). Crap.
Man, with my feelings today (in my posted rant about hockey), and with the plans right after the game (which may cause me to have to leave the game early)....there's a part of me that almost doesn't even care about it anymore.
Don't get me wrong, I'm going, and it'll be good to see live hockey again...and I'm sure it'll be lots of fun. But I'm still going to come away even more sad/mad about the lockout. Because...no matter how fun tomorrow evening's game is it will still be something other than my Preds lineup in an NHL game...and that afterthought is bound to linger much longer than any buzz from a fun game.
