Thoughts on the Fun Movie Discussion Topic

You definitely cite the main examples of an actor who has two or more iconic roles. My addition, or tangent, depending on what you think it is, are the actors who have been in two or more iconic films or mostly, trilogies or franchises.

Christopher Lee--Star Wars (new trilogy) as Count Dooku, Lord of the Rings as Saruman

Ian McKellan--Lord of the Rings as Gandalf, X-Men as Magneto

John Rhys-Davies--Lord of the Rings as Gimli, Indiana Jones as Sallah

Patrick Stewart--Star Trek as Captain Picard, X-Men as Professor Xavier

I guess to further the KW thoughts, Sylvester Stallone as Rocky and Rambo qualifies on both fronts.

Even more to fun to think about is the good-luck charm of actor Orlando Bloom, who was in Lord of the Rings, Pirates of the Caribbean, Troy, and Black Hawk Down, all movies that made over 100 million domestically, and we're not even including the worldwide business.

Bale as Bond? Not seeing it. Think he's a good actor...but Bond? Caviezel as Superman...I can see.
