My Superbowl Pick

I'm going to stick with the Seahawks, since I actually predicted they would make it to the big game before the season started. I had them losing to Baltimore, but since that team ended up being completely different off paper, I'll go with the team I picked that actually made it.

And the Seahawks are getting no love. The AFC is so much better than the NFC, which I'm not disputing. But I truly believe that the Seahawks are the exception. If they were still in the AFC West I think it's arguable they would have won it this year. They've got a well above average defense (Dyson, why didn't you play like this in Tennessee?), and an incredible offense (Even if no one knows who these people are). They've got to shut down Pittsburgh's rushing offense, but it can be done.

I think the 2005/2006 Seahawks are quite possibly one of the most underrated teams in the history of football. Shawn Alexander broke all kind of single season rushing records this season, and no one knows who he is. What's up with that?
