Good Readin'

I want to point out this piece by Gene Weingarten in the Washington Post. Many thanks to Paul Noonan for pointing it out. It's the true story of "The Great Zucchini", an entertainer for 2-6 year olds in the DC area. He charges $300 per to minutes, but is still broke all of the time. He's really still just a kid himself.

It sounds like a decent story on the face of it, but it's the writing that really makes it memorable. Have you ever had a work of art strike you in a way that makes all of your senses heightened? That's what this piece did for me. Read it if you love the written word.
