Just Noting...
Did anyone else notice the negative coverage of Tiger Woods weekend that seemed to come from every news outlet yesterday? I want to remind them all that he finished in second place. In a major tournament. In some pretty rough conditions by golf's standards. I can think of, oh, say, every other golfer but one who would happy have changed places with him.

Yeah, I think with Tiger we're seeing (have seen) the media trying to find a Tiger story to sell, so it has to be negative so that they can have an even better story when he makes his "comeback." (The Natural: Tomorrow whether you're the hero or the goat...you're gonna' make me a great story).
Tiger will be considered (is considered) a legend and 20 years from now, making negative comments about him will seem as silly as making negative comments about Jack Nicklaus today.
Let's also not forget that just a few months back he had a string of something like seven wins in a row. He's a robot. He's a machine. We love him for it, and then we tear him down when he dares to have an off day and come in second instead of first.
I'm not saying I'm a Tiger apologist, but I hate Tiger-haters.
