AFC NORTH
I just want to punch Nomar during that Mia Hamm commercial.
AFC NORTH
1. Pittsburgh Steelers
2. Cleveland Browns
3. Cincinnati Bengals
4. Baltimore Ravens
Do I have to pick a winner here? I go with the Steelers. Because every now and then, they are good. And yes, I stole this idea from the ESPN's Sport's Guy. Not the first time I've stolen from him.
I love Marvin Lewis, but I think this team is a year away. They snuck up on people, and they can't do that this year. I give then seven wins. And look out for them next year.
Oh heck, why not put the Brownies at second? But, they might only win seven wins, too. How will Garcia be? (I'm beginning to wonder if I think anyone will be good.)
Baltimore is picked last because of spite. I hate them. And I hate Deion. I'm just full of hate! They will win zero games this year, Art Modell will go senile, and the team will be sold to someone good. Then, they'll buy the Colts name back, fire that coach, apologize for insulting Nashville, and all will be right in Baltimore. Except for that Communist Peter Angelos. Why is Baltimore so cursed?
As a Reds fan, let's make something clear. Deion solves nothing. He brings an ego that brings the team down, and can quickly ruin your season. I believe that the Reds miserable 2001 season was his fault. And this is three years and a horrible TV stint later. He now officially has negative energy, and should cost this team wins, just like he cost the Reds wins. When players start to expect great things from you, they subconsciously defer to you and don't take on as much responsibility. And, when that player starts to suck, everyone looks bad and gets depressed. Why can't great athletes just realize that they're no good when they get old? Why?
17-13 Colts at the half.
