Titans- Colts
What interests me about the Edge this weekend is, did he run well last week because he is back to form, or because the Pats run D is weak? I think it's because he's good, but this weekend might give us a better feeling.
Vanderjagt is too good of a kicker to mess up again so soon, and he should be smart enough to avoid taunting before important kicks for now on. Still, I don't trust him mentally, and he might screw the Colts up this post-season. Heck, some Colt has to do it.
I have a bad feeling about Chris Brown this year, but remain positive that McNair can shoulder the burden of an entire team yet again - at least until he finally breaks in half in middle of a game. Maybe Brown can start taking some of those McNair-roids that he must be taking. God, if only we could have a RB as durable as McNair! Oh wait, we did... and he started sucking in the last few years. I wonder, with some fear, how good A. Smith can be. We might find out soon.
The lines I'm looking at say the Titans are one point favorites, but keep in mind that the home team usually gets three points. So Vegas thinks the Colts are bit better. I think the Colts are the slightly better team as well, and I really can't see them going behind two games so early in the season. I pick the Colts by eight or nine, but being closer than that throughout. Looking into the future I see a well faught game with Titans fans deflating at two mintues to play as the Colts go ahead by two scores. And then we take heart because there's still a long way to go.
