Wow... again...
I think we've gone a bit overboard here. Jason, if you're reading this, I honestly thought that you were really, really angry about KW's piece. The entire rant seemed to be about his opinions. It seems he and I read that wrong, but that's certainly how it originally sounded to me. And KW, I think your piece was too harsh - I was really surprised by it. But everyone's mad that the Preds are gone, and I was hoping we could all understand that some people are just lashing out. Words can be easily misleading. Too bad.

Too true, Mike. Sometimes, when I'm passionate about something, I tend to get on too strong a roll of biting commentary. Add anger or what-not to the mix and there you go. I'm pretty sure a lot of the harshness came from other stuff going on in my head anyway, and I just siezed the opportunity to rant. I've been doing some reading on the backlogged stuff over at the Predators Den and really wish I'd done that first, 'cause they certainly seem like good hockey-loving people. And I think I am that kind of guy too. I'm doubling my efforts to focus my anger about the lockout only at targets deserving of blame, and not on fellow hockey fans. Had I not re-read my own post this morning and found myself surprised at its harsh tone, I might have left it up. But it wasn't representative of my postings or feelings as a whole, and I felt it needed to go. I have to remind myself of the ageless wisdom Bill Murray passed down to the groundhog: "Don't drive angry. Don't drive angry."
Mike~
Just wondering if you recieved your heart felt letter about the shut out from Mr. Leipold? I just got mine. Interesting to say the least. You can check updates on the Preds @ www.nhlcbanews.com (if you didn't know).
GO PREDS! ~J
