The Titans

A 17-7 score, a game that should not have been nearly as close, an overall yawner of an opener in Miami.

Chris Brown ran for 100 yards, including a 53-yarder that reminded me of how Eddie used to not do that, and that was all in the 1st half because he tweaked his ankle--he'll be back next week according to most reports.

McNair's passing needs work. Way too many no-chance throws.

The defense got three interceptions, including one from Lamont Thompson where he ran 37 yards for the TD. Fiedler AND Feeley didn't look good. Too quick of a hook for Fiedler, but the fans were raining boos every time he touched the ball. They have almost no offense.

Kicker Aaron Elling was decent, but muffed a kick in the infield portion of Pro Player. I guess that's to be understood.

Between the 20s, the Titans offense looked great. Uninspired play calling and a reluctance to use Chris Brown leave question marks in the red zone.

Not much to say, really, about a game that featured more penalties and reviews than scores.
