Go NFC

I'm usually a strong AFC supporter when it comes to the playoffs. Being a longtime Raiders fan, and a more recent hometown Titans fan, I usually am following the AFC a lot closer. But being a Raiders fan, I can't stand the Steelers or Patriots or Broncos; being a Titans fan I can't stand the Colts, and the Steelers would fall in that category as well. So, when the Bengals got knocked off, who I have no opinion of, the AFC playoffs lost all my interest whatsoever.

As far as George's post goes, I also thought the Steelers had a chance to win, and now that they have, I'm not surprised, nor do I care. It was a god awful game unitil the last quarter, and now that we have a Steelers/Broncos match-up, I think I'll be skipping that. My attention is solely now focused on the NFC.

So, to Seattle, and whoever wins the Bears/Panthers game, good luck. I hope the Steelers/Broncos go down like the pieces of shit they are come the Superbowl.

And am I the only one who thinks this the worst NFL postseason ever? All seven games that have been played have been about as interesting as an NBA game, and the eigth one going on right now looks no different. And next week's games don't look any better. Either the Steelers or Broncos are going to come out strong, and the other team will be playing catch-up (could be another exciting fourth quater). The Seahawks are most likely going to roll over either team they play. Then we have the Superbowl. Does a Seattle/Denver or Seattle/Pittsburgh game sound interesting to anyone. Talk about some small markets. I would have to bet this is going to be the lowest rated superbowl in quite a long time. It's just my two cents, but I feel like I'm not alone.

I also agree that this has been a terrible set of playoff games. The Steelers/Colts game was only good in the final quarter, and even then it required precarious officiating to get to that point. Although so far, this Panthers/Bears game is pretty good--I thought it would be the worst.

As far as the small market Super Bowl thing goes, I disagree with that. The Titans/Rams was supposed to be extremely low-rated and it turned out at the time to be one of the highest ever.

The Titans/Rams makes a good point. And maybe this has just been a feeling, but football viewing in general has been down quite a bit this year when you get out of each team's local market and surrounding areas. And with no big market teams making it, or really big names involved (Shawn Alexander is great, but less people know about him than you realize) I just don't see it being as big a deal this year. Maybe I'm wrong; it mostly depends on how good the game is, so here's hoping for the best.
