Chris, I agree completely on the Titans. Congrats on picking the Carolina win correctly, and getting the garbage touchdown! And you almost got the Colt score exactly. Well, credit where credit is due.

I'm ready to pick a winner in the Carolina-Philly game, and I think the winner is going to be - the National Football League. They're the big winner in this entire playoff run of great games. But seriously, I think I'm going to have to go with Philly. Even though they've lost a couple of these NFC Championship games, sometimes a team does break through the jinx, like Duke did. If they're even going to do it, this Sunday is the time.

I want to kill that man who does the playoffs commercials for the National Football League. That one where he claims that if the Immaculate Reception never happened, then Joe Montana never would have played the game? That's some of the most stupid logic I've ever heard. And he's so earnest about it! That's the worst part.

I have to do SOME defending of Favre here. Although that was a bad throw, it looks like the wide receiver broke the route, or somehow there was a miscue somewhere. The miscue could have been Favre's fault, but not all his. I'm sure he's made that throw several times before and had it work fine. Everything just worked against him on that one. Still, not the best decision, but not the worst.

Speaking of that play, did you notice the inability to pick up the blitz? Was there an epidemic of that this weekend? On the final Titan drive, McNair was under pressure in two seconds. That's why he got the intentional grounding, and had to throw that odd prayer to Bennett. And it happened on every play on the drive. McNair was good to even get to the point on the field that they did.
