Vinny Always Finds Work

It's amazing that a QB who has never really had a great professional year, and for that matter wasn't even that successfull in college (Remember the National Championship against Penn State) can still find work in his early forties. And not as a back-up either; Vinny Testaverde will be the starting QB for the New York Jets for the remainder of the season. Even though there are a lot of younger and probably better possibilities; trades that would have been easy to make (Ken Dorsey anyone; hell, Kordel Stewart), the Jets went with the old unreliable Vinny Testaverde. And how can you blame them; Vinny might not win you any big games, but that dude's got some loyal fan support. He'll keep people in the seats with his borderline mediocrity; that's something Jeff George and Ryan Leaf will never be able to say. Good luck, Vinny. I'm sure we'll all be rooting for you; we just won't start you on our fantasy teams because, well, you suck balls. But we love you no matter what.
