A Commercial Too Good For Words
This commercial is for Io Digital Cable, which I don't think is available anywhere but some states in the Northeast. It plays constantly, and I'm sure it annoys the piss out of people. I admit, when I first saw it, I was like, "What is this crap?"
However, I've come to the conclusion that it is a genius ad. The English/Hispanic rap jingle is catchy (especially when you hear it over and over), it's got hot girls, pirates, and some of the craziest imagery you will likely ever see in any commercial. At the very least, you can admit that the people behind this didn't phone it in. Enjoy (or get annoyed).

Please make it stop. Please.
Now imagine that commercial playing like a hundred times in a day...and then, inexplicably, growing to appreciate it artistically. It's a tough situation to be in.
Oh, no, i LOVE it. It's even better in Spanish. It totally cracks me up. The sea monster and the pirate hacking its tail with a sword??? Come ON! I have worked on worse music videos. This is great bang for their shooting budget buck.
They should give that director a film deal. If he/she would spend that much time on something as minimalistic as this, then think what they could do with a feature length film. But, yeah, it's pretty annoying; however I could see how you could appreciate it after the hundreth time or so.
it's a brilliant commercial and they should win an award. it is so annoying and then it creeps up on you and you find yourself walking around your house, your streets,in the shower singing the entire song....
